Our little restaurant is located on Cebu beach, in Malaki Beach Resort, we serve fusion Filipino - French seafood cuisine and the menu was loving crafted by our head chef, Jean Pierre Jacob.
He's a renowned chef with 2 Michelin stars under his belt. In 1984, he obtained the first Michelin star for his restaurant in Le Bourget du Lac (then located at the Grange in Le Bourget du Lac), and in 1986 for Courchevel. Le Bateau Ivre won its first Michelin star in 1984, followed by the Bateau Ivre in Courchevel in 1986. His talent as a Grand gastronomic Chef was confirmed when he won the second Michelin star in 1987. In 1995, he transferred Le Bateau Ivre at Ombremont Hotel where he got the first star in 1996 and the second in 2000. With all those accolades, you know he's the REEL deal when it comes to seafood. They were raised off the bounty of the ocean and as adults have been HOOKED to all things seafood. They managed to get our current chef Jean Pierre ON BOARD and this lead to the inception of The Naked Sea.
